Hamie Industries Sdn Bhd was founded by Nurul Fatiha Ami Nordin on November 2013. Now its products was brand as Ombak Keropok got some requests from domestic and foreign market. Hamie Industries Sdn Bhd currently focus on domestic market which is Selangor, Melaka, and Pahang before penetrate in foreign market. Hamie Industries Sdn Bhd has 3 employees to set up the business and also have intention to export their product to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Besides, its also have other business which is resort and restaurant that still run until now. Hamie Industries Sdn Bhd participated on World Halal Product Exhibition 2014 (HAPEX 2014) at the Prince Songkhla University, Haatyai that organize by Kelantan State Economic Development Corporation (PKINK). In addition, this company 100% fully owned by bumiputera and women equity. The raw material also 100% from local product.

Started 25 years ago with the business of bread and cakes heredity family, Wan Norshiha Wan Embong ventured into the frozen food through its AZ Nora Enterprise is now known as Shinora Food Industries Sdn Bhd. Now its products was brand as Shinora got some requests from inside or outside the country. 

Shinora Food Industries Sdn Bhd was formed on 20 February 2013 by Wan Norshiha Wan Embong itself and this company 100% fully owned by bumiputera and 60% women equity. It has 4 employees for their company to started their industries.

In addition, Shinora Food Industries Sdn Bhd participated on World Halal Product Exhibition 2014 (HAPEX 2014) at the Prince Songkhla University, Haatyai that organize by Kelantan State Economic Development Corporation (PKINK). In this event the people has a good response toward the Shinora product. One of their killer product is "roti keramat sardin"

Besides, the raw material used by this industries its 100% of local content. Normally, their supplier just around in Terengganu so that easy to get the raw material and at the same time it will cut the cost of production.

JEJAK USAHAWAN BY TERENGGANU ENTREPRENUERS DEVELOPMENT SECRETARIAT

Date of Visited : 22 JUNE 2014

The delegation was led by YB Roslee bin Daud, the Chairman for Tererngganu's Secretariat for Rural Developmaent, Entreprenuership, Cooperatives and Consumerism, and joined by the 20 members of Terengganu Entreprenuers Development Secretariat such as MATRADE, SME, MARA, PUNB etc. 

The purpose of the visit is to introduce potential entrepreneurs to related agencies for further development and monitoring towards better business development within Malaysia and towards the global market.

It was observed that currently only one company which is PRM Food and Marketing is ready in term of capacity and capability towards the export market. The other visits are also in conjunction to visiting industrial areas in Terengganu which is Kilang IKS Yayasan Usahawan Terengganu and Kawasan Perindustrian MARA in Bukit Kor, Marang, Terengganu. Although all companies are interested towards exporting, most do not have the capacity as yet.

This is the 2^nd Jejak Usahawan done for 2014 and more are expected to organise. MATRADE and other agencies will take note on potential companies in view of each’s responsibility. MGV and Pointray are both under MATRADE and highly capable for export. 

MGV is MATRADE’s BEDP alumni and had successfully exported their soft drink and sparkling juices to Singapore, Indonesia and China. Pointray had started aggressively promoting their products globally in early 2014 and had been recommended as future BEDP intake 2015/2018. Desa Ukiran Kayu however, is just a training centre for future traditional hand crafters in the wooden sector.
