Kilang Papan Mohd Yusof & Anak-Anak (Trg) Sdn Bhd (KPMY) was established in 1976 and its founders were Mr. Mohamed Bin Yusof and his spouse (the late) Mrs. Maimun Binti Embong. In July 1983, their eldest son, Mr. Mohamad Ghazali bin Mohamed replaced his mother Mrs. Maimun Binti Embong as the major shareholder.
KPMY embarked on timber engineering in 1998 as licensed fabricator for timber roof trusses by Mitek Asia Sdn. Bhd a subsidiary of Mitek Ausralia Limited. Most of the KPMY products are for a local market only except for sawn timber which were exported either through agents or direct sales. KPMY possess the Timber Export License from Malaysia Timber Industry Board (MTIB) since 2000. Since then, KPMY has exported their sawn timber product to Thailand and China. On December 2001, KPMY established subsidiary company KPMY Wood Engineering Sdn. Bhd. Design & Market Prefabricated Timber Roof Trusses outside Terengganu and other timber structure. Then, on December 2003, KPMY Established KPMY Timber Mart Sdn. Bhd. one stop center for timber product manufactured by local SMI. i.e. Timber Trusses, wall and Garden Furniture. On March 2005, KPMY established Penaga Loggers Sdn.Bhd to ensure sustainable logs supply, to keep abreast with FSC requirement and forest plantation.
Professional and technical staff such as architect and engineer is their main assets in putting KPMY among the major players in prefabricated timber roof truss industry, right from processing, designing to installation. On 2008 KPMY handle many project from government to install the Prefabricated Roof. Manufactured under stringent factory quality control and their products are designed to comply with Malaysian and Australian standard. Installed by their own in-house trained workers make their truss safer, reliable and most preferable. Years of R&D, experience and collaboration with local Universities, have determined KPMY to shape their sky with safe and quality roof truss. The production of garden furniture is based on the demand and order from customer. The end product of garden furniture is placed at their showroom located at KPMY sales office. KPMY also supply the chip boards which are demanded by companies in Terengganu and Johor. KPMY is able to make 3000 of solid door every month. Currently, KPMY is striving to export their solid door, fire door and garden furniture.
