PERTIMA TRENGGANU SDN BHD is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Terengganu State Economic Development Corporation (PMINT) and a pioneer in the manufacturing of canned food products in the state of Terengganu; Since its establishment in 1972, PERTIMA has become a leader in producing high quality canned food products in the market with current position within top five sardines brand in Malaysia; Located in Kuala Terengganu, PERTIMA’s factory is fully equipped and is able to guarantee its capacity in producing high quality canned food products for local market such as sardines in tomato sauce, egg jam, chicken curry, beef curry and tuna in curry. The quality of PERTIMA’s products has been tested and proven. A stamp of approval comes in the form of PERTIMA’s appointment by the Malaysian Government as the sole supplier of canned sardines to all government agencies for the past 20 years. As a further quality, PERTIMA is registered with the Islamic Development of Malaysia (JAKIM) and has been certified as halal facilities as well as ISO 9001:2008 including HACCP qualifications. Since 2006, PERTIMA had offered services for Halal canning of beef/muttons under Qurban Aid. Currently, they included Muslim Aid (Australia) and Islamic Relief World Wide (UK) in the Qurban meat canning services.

They will therefore, both be going globally in the same category of products which is food and beverages even though their types of products are different. The company had already exported to United States of America, Hong Kong and Mauritius. Approximately 40 people are employed at Mah Tong Huat Food Industries Sdn Bhd and all of the workers are 100% Malaysian. The company has one lot of factory in which the manufacturing facilities and warehouse are situated.
