DELPHI PACKARD ELECTRIC (M) SDN. BHD.

Delphi Packard Electric (M) Sdn. Bhd. first started their operations in Malaysia in 1996 in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. On 31st December 1998, they opened another chapter in their illustrious history by combining their strength with the local player, Hasu Ind. Sdn. Bhd. in Chendering Industrial area, Kuala Terengganu. In June 1999, Delphi Packard Electric (M) Sdn Bhd (DPEM) began its first commercial operation. The current company is a joint venture between Delphi Corporation which is based in Michigan (USA) and Packard Korea Incorporation (Korea). It is currently one of the largest private sector employers in Kuala Terengganu employing approximately 700 employees. A supplier of various type of wire harness to the Malaysian national cars manufacturer (PROTON) for its Exora, Persona, Iswara, Satria Neo, Waja, Wira & Perdana. DPEM is an ISO TS-16949 certified company (since 2004), ISO 14000 (since 2002), QS 9000 (since 2001) & Delphi Business System certified since 1999. Their manufacturing capability comprises of 20 KOMAX machines (automated cutting & crimping), 3 twister machines & various press, taping & stripping machines. Their manufacturing complex comprises of three main blocks situated on a 15,210 square meter of industrial land in the Chendering Industrial Area, Kuala Terengganu. Their Sales & Project Office is situated in Glenmarie Industrial Area, Shah Alam.
