The delegation was led by YB
Roslee bin Daud, the Chairman for Tererngganu's Secretariat for Rural Developmaent, Entreprenuership, Cooperatives and Consumerism, and joined by the 20 members of Terengganu Entreprenuers Development Secretariat such as MATRADE, SME, MARA, PUNB etc.
The purpose of the visit is to
introduce potential entrepreneurs to related agencies for further development
and monitoring towards better business development within Malaysia and towards
the global market.
It was observed that currently
only one company which is PRM Food and Marketing is ready in term of capacity
and capability towards the export market. The other visits are also in
conjunction to visiting industrial areas in Terengganu which is Kilang IKS
Yayasan Usahawan Terengganu and Kawasan Perindustrian MARA in Bukit Kor,
Marang, Terengganu. Although all companies are interested towards exporting,
most do not have the capacity as yet.
