GAMBANG HALAL PARK

The Pahang Technology Park in Gambang is developed to become the catalyst spur high-tech related in the state. Halal Food Park, biotechnology, information and communication technology (ICT) centre and an agritech centre was the components that included at Technology Park. Gambang is foreseen to be the main technology park in the eastern corridor with this development.

Gambang Halal Park is the part of Pahang Technology Park focusing on producing food and non-food industries in accordance with Syariah principles. The East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) that identified the Gambang Halal Park as one of the key initiatives to spur the economic activities in the region.

Gambang Halal Park is located in Gambang Technology Park, Mukim Kuala Kuantan, Kuantan, Pahang. The Gambang Halal Park is the privately-owned Prima Halal Food. The University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Gambang branch campus is also close vicinity of the park.

The area is easily accessible via road which is (East Coast Highway) and the major international port:

The park is gated with the industrial park complete with industrial lots, shared facilities, as well as business and commercial areas. To ensure the legitimacy of the Halal products, the internal distribution and logistics system will be used within the park.
