TPM Biotech Sdn. Bhd. (Formerly known as Periwinkle Science Sdn. Bhd.) was established in 2004 as a fully owned subsidiary of Technology Park (TPM) Corporation Sdn. Bhd, a Malaysian government-linked company.

In 2004, the formation of TPM Biotech Sdn. Bhd. (TPMB) is being seen a prelude to realizing the enormous efficacy of its biodiversity. Besides that, it’s a wholly owned subsidiary of Technology Park Malaysia Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (TPM), an agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI).

The Herbal Biotech Centre, located in Raub, Pahang have been explicitly designed to undertake all aspects of herbal processing while the biotechnology Development Centre which is in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur that engages in biotechnological related service, sales, marketing and consultancy.

The Herbal Biotech centre is nestled in an oasis of serenity, courtesy of the lush greenery that surrounds the 500 acres of tropical forest at Ulu Sungai, Mukim Batu Talam, Raub, Pahang. The government’s effort in developing biotechnology as an growth for the nation which is the TPMB is a hub of distinction.

An administrative office, Phytochemistry and Biochemistry Laboratories as well as herbal production and processing centre accorded with GMP status is the Herbal Biotech Centre Encompasses.

The Production Centre houses a complete herbal remedy processing plant; inclusive of Raw Material processing line are spreading over 20,000 sq.ft. The staffs that working in this company is 45 people.
