Temanse Aquaculture Sdn Bhd

Temanse Aquaculture Sdn. Bhd. is an Anglo-Malaysian venture with the following objectives: to introduce and implementthe most innovative and suitable integrated aquaculture practices, know-how and expertise from around the world that works in harmony and enhance the abundance and invaluable natural resources of Malaysia to produce highest quality aquaculture produce whilst addressing issues of Sustainability, Traceability and The Environment.

Temanse Aquaculture Produce their own fingerlings, grow their own fish and process at their own processing facility. Their fishare farmed in the pristine waters of Sg. Como. Como River is part of Lake Kenyir, Malaysia, the largest man-made lake in South-East Asia.
 



Their processing facility is located in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. It is a mere 10 minutes away from the airport, and is capable of producing chilled, frozen and cooked products. They are able to process 8 tons of fish per shift per day. Yet they are also able to tailor their products to the needs of the customers.

To reflect their business models and corporate philosophy, they have chosen ASLI as their brand name. ASLI is a Malay word meaning genuine, uncontaminated or natural, that reflects to the care that Temanse Aquaculture take in their farming practice and products.

Their first products range is Como ASLI. Since 2006, Temanse has been working with leading seafood processors and suppliers in the EU to produce premium quality pangasius which can meet the demands of the EU market for healthy, safe and tasty food.

In line with the EU efforts, their first product line is known as BASA (pangasius sp) a white fish that is favoured by many for its delicate and subtle flavour. ASLI products have the 5 guarantees which is high in protein, low in fat, no preservatives, no artificial flavor, and no anti-biotic or chemicals.
